Everything we have is a gift from God. God calls us to be grateful for and generous with all of our gifts, including our treasure. Our faith teaches us this through the Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 One of the building blocks of Catholicism should be our willingness to be charitableour devotion to stewardship. We are blessed in every facet of our lives, and the things that bless us should have a measure of those blessings returned. Please consider donating online by clicking on the donate bar or in person. We would be exceedingly grateful for any amount you can give.

It is more blessed to give than to receive Acts 20:35. At St. John Baptist de LaSalle Catholic Church, we encourage a culture of giving. Every gift makes an incredible difference to our church and the people of Wilkesboro. Give a gift online and bless our parish and your community

Volunteers make a huge impact on the world for their contributions to alleviating poverty, addressing injustice, and providing comfort to those who suffer. In addition to this, the volunteers themselves experience a great deal of benefit from the service experience.

For the price of a cup of coffee a day, you can help nourish your parish and participate fully in your Catholic faith.

We are so grateful for your commitment to generosity and we are humbled by your willingness to bless those around you.

As cited in the Catechism (No. 2043), the Precepts of the Church maintain that each person has the duty to support the material needs of the Church. Of course a person fulfills this obligation according to his abilities. The Code of Canon Law also states, “The Christian faithful are obliged to assist with the needs of the Church so that the Church has what is necessary for divine worship for apostolic works and works of charity end for the decent sustenance of ministers” (No. 222) Please consider a monthly donation and thank you!
